Cluster Science Net - Wish List
The open-access science portal for clusters, fullerenes, nanotubes, nanostructures, and similar small systems.

Objective

This Wish List is designed to provide the scientific community with an easy way to tailor a list of features for the Cluster Science Net that they would like to see implemented.
All that is needed to give fortune a little push in your favour: Let us know about your comments and suggestions.

Present Status

This is the current To-Do List for the next future:
  • Implementation of a true database for the bibliography Cluster Literature, allowing the comfortable use of a general search form (2 votes), and integration with the directory Cluster Groups. Addition of the Journal Abstract, Export BibTeX Reference, and Export EndNote® Reference features, allowing to export a record directly to your BibTeX or EndNote® software (1 vote).
  • Update of the EndNote® import filter to support the latest EndNote® software versions 8 ff.

Further Outlook

This is the Wish List of major items to be added/improved sometime in the future:
  • Redesign of the mailing list Cluster Science, the calendar Cluster Conferences, the vacancies Cluster Jobs, and the Web site Feedback with the goal to promote accessibility for users with disabilities.
  • Addition of other entry types such as 'Books, 'Book Sections', and 'Edited Books' to the bibliography Cluster Literature (2 votes)
  • Addition of RTF- and XML-import/export filters for the bibliography Cluster Literature
  • On-the-Fly selection of document references for the submission of BibTeX and EndNote® files (1 vote)
  • Addition of a page listing companies interesting to cluster science (1 vote)
  • Re-implementation of the mailing list Cluster Science, allowing for an automatic synchronisation of email addresses with the directory Cluster Groups (2 votes)
Minor items to be addressed:
  • In the bibliography Cluster Literature change the entry type of the Corresponding Author to optional (2 votes)
  • Addition of phone extensions in the directory Cluster Groups (1 vote)
  • Addition of Internship to the selection-list of job opportunities in the vacancies Cluster Jobs (1 vote)
  • Allow the multi-selection of several appointment levels in the vacancies Cluster Jobs (1 vote)
